GLADERO
(Glu-dare-o)
The gladero is nicknamed the cursed bird, and for good reason. It has long, thick black feathers covering its torso, but lacks wings. Instead, these creatures have “arms.” These arms are made of hollow bones and very little muscle. They aren’t covered in feathers and are the same light gray as their face. At the ends of their arms are four black fleshy cords, similar to tree roots. Their feet are made of thick yellow scales, the same as their two horns, and instead of a beak, gladero have long tentacles protruding from their mouths.
There are many more female gladeros than males. Due to that, many male gladero end up having two mates.
