MARMERLIF

(Mar-mer-lif)

These beautiful birds are native to Yoxtoll forest. They notice everything, have eyesight twice as good as elves’, and are extremely loyal to their owners. They also never forget an act of kindness toward them.            

In terms of appearance, male and female marmerlifs don’t differ much, except for their eye. Both sexes have only one large eye above their beak, but females always have a purple eye, and males have an orange eye. Both of them are similar in size, and their feathers change to the same colors as they age.

-6 months to 4 years: light pink

-5-10: light purple

-11-20: dark purple

-21-27: dark blue

-28-36: light yellow

-37-44: dark yellow with a red head

-45-52: dark red

-53-60: light blue-green

-61 until they die: ashen gray
