Humans
At one point, mankind was the most powerful force on Affer, but that all changed after the Great War. At the height of their power, there were over a million people, and each of their cities was strong enough to hold its own against another kingdom. Their leader, Duke Vulcon, was a mighty warrior and fearsome leader. Although many battles didn't happen on Affer, any that did were won by the humans. It wasn't long after the height of their power that the five other species allied together against the humans. Even with all their strength, the humans were vastly outnumbered and were hopelessly slaughtered one after another. In less than three weeks, the human population dropped all the way down to a measly one hundred thousand. Powerless, the humans were enslaved and divided among the other species.
For four hundred and seventy-three years, mankind stayed as slaves, and it seemed it would stay that way forever. Then Fletcher Rush comes along. A man who is willing to sacrifice everything to free his kind and bring them back to the height of their power.
Admont
The once mighty city, Admont, was a grand city built by some of the most skilled craftsmen and protected by some of humanity's greatest warriors. Its magnificence wasn't quite what Piltin was, but it was still an astonishing city. Three walls protected the city: the outermost, the inner, and the castle walls, also known as the innermost. All three of them were made out of limestone. In the outermost circle was where the common folk lived. The inner circle is where all the businesses, wealthy people, and two wards were. Lastly, the castle walls, this is where the wealthiest lived, along with two more wards, and all three military posts, with the grand castle sitting in the center.
After centuries of being abandoned, the city has become a muddled version of itself. Overgrowth has taken over the streets and buildings. Many of the buildings were damaged and falling apart, either from the battle that ended the city or from being abandoned for so long. The castle itself had been infested by animals and rodents, and rain had eroded parts of the roof and dripped into the rooms inside.
But for now, the city sits, waiting for the day humans inhabit it once more.

The human kingdom
This is the area where the humans once ruled over. They possessed nine cities in total, with the capital being their magnum opus. The kingdom resided almost entirely in the grasslands and was strategically built in the center of Affer. If it wasn't for the Great War, they would have expanded their kingdom even further. Since Admont was the capital, most of the kingdom's wealth resided there, but each city held one thousand to five thousand pounds of gold at all times.
On top of that, each city had a full set of armor for every guard and soldier. The armory was so stacked with their standard weapon, the longsword, that soldiers would often discard their weapons after a battle. No one knows the full potential of the human kingdom, but someday that might change.
