SOLFIEND

(Sole-fiend)

The Solfiend is a giant, octopus-like creature that dwells deep in the sands of Arrgon Desert. They have a pair of eyes on either side of their head, each with a second layer of eyelids to protect them from the sand, and sharp fins on the other two sides. Twelve long, scale-covered tentacles allow them to traverse through the sand, and they have two mouths, one below each pair of eyes, and both mouths connect on the inside. All of the creature’s organs, including its stomach, are in the top part of its head. Lastly, are the solfiend’s teeth. They have two small rows of sharp teeth and four massive canines in each mouth. Each canine weighs over two hundred pounds and secretes a highly potent venom that causes severe pain. The venom itself won’t kill you, but it will leave you writhing in agony for up to seven hours.
