VEX
Out of all the deadly creatures in the Zenton Sea, the vex is the most dangerous. It’s larger, stronger, smarter, and can see even at the very depths of the Zenton Sea, which is fourteen thousand feet. They’re fast and have giant claws as hands that can warp ilbar like butter. The thick, hard shell that their claws are made of runs up their arms in fragments. Bone protrudes from the base of their neck, collarbone, shoulders, and wraps under their arms. Their necks are open in the center and have three large gills on the each side. Four red eyes sit deep in their head, and eight long, webbed tentacles extrude from their head. On their shoulders, three large spikes made of bone protrude.
Due to their enormous size, vexes must consume well over one hundred thousand pounds of food each day. To satisfy this immense appetite, a vex’s mouth encompasses the majority of its torso. A long tongue lurks in the pit of their mouth and shoots out, wrapping around prey and holding them still as the vex closes their mouth. Lastly, are the creature’s legs. It has long tentacles that aid the creature in moving around the sea.
