HUMANS
Humans were once the mightiest species on Affer. Their kingdom was larger than any other, and despite being the weakest physically, the humans were unmatched at the height of their power. They didnโt have increased stamina or stellar vision like the elves, nor did they have superior healing and intelligence like the angels or super strength and dense bones like the demons. They also couldnโt speak with animals like the dammed. Logically, they should have been the weakest from the start, but one thing the humans had was an indomitable spirit. Despite that, the humans were overwhelmed during the Great War, as every other species allied against them.
The Great War was a devastating loss for mankind. Hundreds of thousands were killed, but those who lived didnโt fare any better. The survivors were shackled and forced into a life of enslavement. For centuries, nothing changed, and every human had lost hope for freedomโฆ That is, except for Fletcher Rush. One man will lead the largest rebellion the planet has ever seen and shake Affer to its very core. The fire that lay dormant for four hundred seventy-three years has been rekindled, and the indomitable human spirit is being feared once again.
SYMBOL

THE KINGDOM
The grassland is one of the most normal places on Affer. It doesnโt have colorful hot springs, towering mountains, stunning trees, or exotic animals, except for the wye. Comparing it to other parts of the planet makes the area seem dull, but thatโs precisely what makes it the best place to build a kingdom. On top of being in the center of Affer, the grassland is also filled with animals, which makes hunting substantially easier, especially many years ago.
Unlike other spots in Affer, the grassland has two kingdoms occupying it. Even though the angelsโ cities are on the outskirts of the grassland, Xero and Swun are still a part of the area, while Kren teeters on the edge.
Having been vacant since the Great War, the nine grand cities of the human kingdom are a sorry sight compared to what they used to be. Animals have taken refuge in the buildings, rodents scurry through the streets and alleys, ravens perch atop the towers, searching for prey, and Mother Nature has taken over every city. Trees burst through the bricks covering the ground, bushes have grown anywhere thereโs a sliver of light and an ounce of water, and flowers bloom throughout.
The buildings themselves are decrepit. The color has faded from them, vines grow along the walls and roofs, windows are shattered, floorboards are warped, and bugs have infested them. Many are also destroyed, whether from time or the Great War.

THE CAPITAL
Admont
Admont was centuries ahead of its time, and even to this day, it remains one of the greatest cities in Affer. It was designated to be an architectural masterpiece while also being fortified for war. There are three parts to the capital: the outermost, the inner, and the innermost. Each served a purpose, and the farther into Admont you went, the stronger it became.
The outermost ring was where most of the residents of the city lived. Countless shops also dotted the area, and two wards flanked the only gate into Admont.
Four gates lead to the inner part of the human capital, one in each cardinal direction. Three of the entrances have two semi-narrow sets of stairs, while the only one that was built normally sits at the east, with a wide ramp leading into the next part of the city. The stairs were intended to bottleneck an army of attackers, which aided the humans substantially but ultimately didnโt change the outcome of the Great War.
Inside the inner section, there were mostly businesses. Personal forges, along with the capitalโs two private forges, were here. Two more wards were also placed here, each on either side of the west gate, mimicking how it was set up in the outermost circle.
At the heart of Admont is the innermost circle. There is only one entrance, and that was heavily guarded. There are two large guard towers on either side, and the gate is made of knightnium. Inside are all four military posts in Admont, and at the very center of everything sits Admont Castle. This building took several generations to complete. It towers above the rest of the city, standing at one hundred forty feet tall, and is a total of 1.1 million square feet. Several people died in the construction of the building, and the project was paused numerous times. Seven times it was due to a lack of resources, once because of a lack of funds, and four times to pass the throne to another leader.
Admont was built to last forever and surpass all others. Now it sits vacant, waiting for the day humans inhabit it once more.
