JIXXES

Very little is known about the Jixxes, and an old book written before the Great War is the only information on them. These nightmarish creatures dwell in the caves to the northeast and never leave them.

What is known about the Jixxes is that they are very powerful and invade the minds of those in a weakened state. The more the Jixxes invade someone’s mind, the easier it becomes for the creatures to lure them to their home, using their weaknesses, needs, and wants against them. Once their victims enter the caves, it’s only a matter of time until the Jixxes devour them, completely tearing their bodies apart and consuming their souls.

As for their appearance, Jixxes have been described as larger than a house and emitting a presence deadlier than a vex. They have pitch-black skin, crimson eyes, no lips or cheeks, and a vivid red exoskeleton running from the top of their head down their back. A tail matching their body in length has a long blade made of bone at the end; three spikes protrude from their ankles, and another four on their elbows, traveling up their biceps. They have four arms, two of which are much shorter than the others, as they are merely forearms that attach to the Jixx’s biceps.

Many don’t even know these creatures exist, and almost everyone who does soon ends up dead.
